What an epic walk over from A'Chuil. It was v windy and rainy all the way but I had not expected the rivers to be in spateon the Sourlies sideof the pass. The situation was serious as I needed to cross the river Finiskaig. It was totally in spate so I choose my spot carefully but even so got swept of my feet just before I reached the opposite bank. Fortunately I was able to grab a rock and recover the situation but there was a moment there where things may have gone differently. Still I am dry and safe at Sourlies and looking forward to a pint tomorrow at Inverie
